Following the release of Resident Evil 2 on the 25th of January, fans and non-fans similarly have been making the frightened journey through Raccoon City. However, if by any chance you'd like to make the game a little bit more lighthearted (as hard as that may be), some upcoming new free DLC may be just the trick.

While we had originally learned that Claire and Leon would be getting some perfectly polygonal costumes, we are now aware that they will be free for all players on the 15th of February, 2019.

Seems like the date sounds familiar, if it does to you then that’s perhaps because the “Ghost Survivor” mode will be introduced to Resident Evil 2 that same day. The mode, which has been made free for all players, wanders the events of Raccoon City through the eyes of those who were not as lucky as Leon and Claire.

Capcom is surely putting its weight behind Resident Evil 2, as proved by this free DLC. Also weekly challenges are part of the horror sensation. With Resident Evil 2 pulling a lot of sales weight already, we're looking forward for more contents that will come out of Resident Evil in the forthcoming years.

It shouldn't take you by surprise if you see you Resident Evil 3 remake. But at the meantime, Resident Evil 2 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one. So go get yours and share with us your experience with the game.
